MDB Bills Sync is an internal software tool built and operated by Merge Design Build Inc. ("MDB", "we"), 1920 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, PH11, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009. It connects our own QuickBooks Online company file to our own Microsoft 365 project records. It is used only by MDB employees and is not offered to the public or to other companies.
MDB Bills Sync reads information from our QuickBooks Online account so that our project records show which subcontractor bills have been paid. It reads: company information, vendors, bills and bill payments. It does not read customer, employee, payroll, banking or tax information.
The information is used only to update MDB's internal subcontractor invoice tracker and to let MDB staff ask our internal assistant whether a bill has been paid. It stays inside MDB's QuickBooks Online account and MDB's Microsoft 365 tenant. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.
Only MDB employees who already have access to the related project records in Microsoft 365. Access to QuickBooks Online itself is unchanged and is controlled in QuickBooks.
The connection uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization. Credentials are stored only inside Microsoft Power Platform, protected by Microsoft 365 sign-in with multi-factor authentication. Access to QuickBooks Online can be revoked at any time from the QuickBooks "Apps" page.
Information copied into our project records is kept as part of MDB's business records for as long as the related project records are kept.
